The AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4G wide-angle fast prime lens offers a large f/1.4 aperture, to deliver stunning images, even at a wide-open aperture. The lens is made up of ten elements in seven groups (including one aspherical glass element) and a rounded, nine-blade diaphragm enabling the photographer to make full use of the shallow depth of field that f/1.4 aperture lenses offer.
The tough magnesium construction features subtle grooves to assist a left-hand grip as well as rubber mount and switch sealing to deter dust and moisture. The company's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quieter auto-focusing, allows it to operate with smooth gearing and has a broad focus ring for fine manual focus accuracy down to the minimum focusing distance of 30cm. The Nano-Crystal coating reduces ghost and flare effects when shooting wide-angle, where the possibility of these effects can greatly increase.
This kit includes three high-quality 67mm multi-coated lens filters -- UV, Circular Polarizer & FLD (fluorescent light correction).
